State Police Charge Three With Reckless Endangerment
Westmoreland, NY (WIBX) - State Police have arrested three men for allegedly firing shots near a home on West Carter Street in the Town of Westmoreland.
Police say the homeowner heard a strange noise, then noticed a broken window and what appeared to be a bullet projectile on the floor of his porch.
An investigation by Troopers led to the arrests of 32-year old Richard Horner of Rome, 55-year old Randolph Ferdinand of Rome and 48-year old Karl Ferdinand of Ohio on reckless endangerment charges.
Police say the three men were firing rifles at a target behind the home.
Several rifles with ammunition were seized as evidence.
