State Police Continue To Investigate 36 Year Old Homicide

It's Cold Case Tuesday and State Police are continuing to investigate a 36-year old homicide in Oneida County.

47-year old Hector Ambrosi was found dead in a room at the Ramada Inn on Burrstone Road in New Hartford on January 15th, 1983.

Police say Ambrosi was shot in the room and had jewelry stolen from him.

They say Ambrosi was involved in the used car business.  He had connections to the Syracuse, Albany and Florida-areas.

Ambrosi was also known as Rock, Tore, or Etore.
