State Police Investigating a Fatal Hunting Accident in Sandy Creek
New York State Police are investigating a fatal hunting accident in the town of Sandy Creek. Troopers in Pulaski responded to a call on Kehoe Road for a report of an individual shot in a hunting accident. The individual who had been shot was transported by ambulance to Oswego Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
State Police were also assisted at the scene by the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Environmental Conservation, and Sandy Creek Fire and Rescue.
UPDATED 12:08 p.m. - State Police have identified the victim as 58-year old Kristopher Paro of Sandy Creek.
