Boonville, NY (WIBX) - A police chase lands a Steuben woman in jail facing almost a dozen charges.

Boonville Police were called to a Stewart's Shop for a domestic dispute. When they arrived one of the parties, 43-year old Mellisa Davis-Fenn, sped away in her pickup truck, leading police on a 90-mile an hour chase.

The tires on Davis' truck were flattened by spike strips that were laid out in the road. She lost control of her truck, crashing into trees off the side of the road.

Oneida County Sheriffs say Davis was treated for minor injuries at Rome Emergency Room and then sent to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $1,500 bail.

She is facing almost a dozen charges including: unlawful fleeing a police officer, driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation, reckless driving, failure to comply, unreasonable speeding, drinking while driving, reckless endangerment, and criminal mischief. Additional charges are pending.
