Another candidate has entered the Utica mayoral race.

Democrat Linda Sullivan-Fatata has announced her intentions to run.

Sullivan-Fatata previously worked in the City's Corporation Counsel office.

She says her campaign will focus on three themes -- creating an open and responsive government, creating a clearly defined path for the future and moving forward with the next generation.

This will be Sullivan-Fatata's first run for elected office.

Former Mayor Louis LaPolla has also announced that he will run for mayor.
