A former Mississippi police officer charged in the death of her daughter in a hot patrol car has pleaded not guilty.

Authorities say a 2-year-old Chihuahua died in a hot car while its owner was cleaning condominiums in Florida.

BALTIMORE (AP) — A Baltimore man has been convicted of involuntary manslaughter for leaving his daughter in a hot car for 16 hours, causing her death.
