LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Forecasters say parts of the central United States could see strong tornadoes and damaging winds in a late-winter storm system, while areas of Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico could be beset by wildfires.
The past weekend of February 25 saw a lot of weather activity all across New York State. So much that a funnel cloud was even spotted in the North Country.
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Officials say tornadoes that struck parts of southeastern Louisiana injured about 40 people, destroyed homes and businesses, flipped cars and trucks, and left thousands without power, but no deaths were reported.
