Teen Seriously Injured In Snowmobile Accident In Boonville

A Kingston, Ontario girl was seriously injured when the snowmobile she was riding was hit a by a vehicle on Route 28 in Boonville.

State Police say 13-year old Angie Bowers was traveling with her parents and they were preparing to cross Route 28 in near white out conditions Troopers say Bowers entered the road and was struck.

She was taken to a Utica hospital with a concussion, broken pelvis, multiple broken ribs and minor internal bleeding. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

The investigation is continuing.
