The Rome Expo 2016 – This Week In The Mohawk Valley

Long known as the 'Getaway Region' of New York, Oneida County and the Mohawk Valley always have something interesting to offer, this week is the Rome Expo.

WIBX 950 in conjunction with Oneida County Tourism host This Week In The Mohawk Valley Toy and the CNY Travel Show to highlight community events and opportunities that are coming to the Mohawk Valley throughout the week.

This week, William Guglielmo, President of the Rome Chamber of Commerce, joins Sara Foster of Oneida County Tourism and Jim to talk about Rome Expo 2016. The Rome Expo, formerly known as the Rome Home Show, that is taking place Saturday April 30th from 10AM - 5PM and Sunday May 1st from 10AM - 4PM.

Upcoming Events

The Mohawk Valley has many upcoming community events and activities for the coming week including a mud-fest with several mud-runs, a contemporary dance performance at MVCC, a play based on Emily Dickinson at Unity Hall, an Irish gala dinner at Hart's Hill Inn and more.
