Three Arrested Following Child Abuse Investigation

Ilion, NY (WIBX) - Three people are facing charges following a 3-month child abuse investigation by Ilion Police. Police charged 26-year old Shane Reid of Dolgeville with sexual abuse, assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

21-year old Marie Elizabeth Dillenbeck of Mohawk and 47-year old Paul Borst of Dolgeville were charged with knowingly making a false written statement.

Police say the alleged incident involved a 3-year old child.

Ilion Police were assisted in their investigation by the Herkimer County District Attorney's Office and the Herkimer County YWCA Child Advocacy Center.
