Utica, NY (WIBX) - Two separate search warrants executed in Utica lead to the arrest of three people.

The Utica Police Department's Metro Unit, aided by the U.S. Marshal's Service, executed the searches on Kellogg Avenue and Nichols Street as a result of an investigation into the sale and distribution of narcotics.

Nelson Pagan, of Kellogg Ave., is charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance--one misdemeanor and two felonies. During the search, police seized a quantity of heroine and money.

At Nichols Street, Samantha Stevenson and Rickey Gilmore Sr. were arrested. Stevenson is charged with misdemeanor and felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, while Gilmore is charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. During the search at the Nichols Street location, police seized a quantity of cocaine and money.
