Two Injured After Car Accident In Town Of Lee

Town of Lee, NY (WIBX) - A two car accident in the Town of Lee sent a Rome woman to the hospital with neck and back injuries. According to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, 38-year-old Pamela Lemieux was struck from behind by another vehicle driven by 76-year-old Sara Brown, while she was stopped in traffic on Turin Road. Lemieux was taken to Rome Memorial Hospital for treatment and Brown was treated at the scene for minor chest pain. Officials say Brown was issued a traffic ticket for following too closely.
