Two Employees Injured In Attacks At CNY Psychiatric Center

Two employees of the Central New York Psychiatric Center in Marcy were treated at a local hospital last week after being attacked by inmates in two separate incidents.

The New York State Correctional Officers and Police Benevolent Association says one of the Security Hospital Treatment Assistants was punched in the face and fell to the floor after being hit.

He suffered a fractured rib and neck and back injuries.

The second SHTA was hit by in the head and face several times.  She suffered a cut to the side of her head.

Both incidents were reported to State Police.
