UPD: Man Facing Multiple Drug Charges
Utica, NY (WIBX) - Law enforcement officials arrested a man after executing a search warrant at 1635 West Street in Utica. The Oneida County Drug Task Force carried out the operation that follows an investigation into the sale and distribution of narcotics. The suspect, 21 year old Kelvin Brown was taken to Oneida County Correctional Facility, after police allegedly found crack cocaine, marijuana, packaging materials and a digital scale at his residence.
Officials say Brown is facing the following charges:
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd B Felony
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th D felony
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th A misdemeanor
- (2 counts) Criminally using Drug Paraphernalia A misdemeanor
- Unlawful Possession of Marijuana violation
