UPDATE: UPD Clear Suspected Purse Thief

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police officials say the man wanted for allegedly making off with a purse from O2 Lounge this past Friday night has been cleared of any wrong doing.

According to the report, the suspect came forward after seeing the images police released to the media and their social networking site, Facebook. Officials say the man told them that he accidentally took the purse he believed belonged to his girlfriend. They say the purse and all its items were returned to the rightful owner. No charges will be filed because police say a crime was not committed.
