The Utica College Men's Hockey team will be waiting patiently tonight at 10 p.m. during the NCAA Division III Selection Show.  Utica, which finished the regular season ranked second in the East Region, is hoping for a high seed and home games to be played at the Utica Memorial Auditorium this week.

The Selection Show will be streamed live tonight at the NCAA website  and the Pioneers have officially requested for the games to be played at the Aud.  Utica could play at home on Wednesday and/or Saturday.  Providing Utica gets the nod at home, tickets will be sold starting Monday on a first come-first serve basis.  Games will begin at 7 p.m..

A Saturday game would pose some complications as the NYS Boys Hockey Tournament is on tap during the day on March 9th.  Fans at the High School tournament will be required to leave and empty the building and then re-enter, paying admission into the NCAA Tournament game.  This procedure is being required by the NCAA.
