A Utica man has been arrested on crack-cocaine possession. New Hartford Police responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Byrne Dairy on Campion Road. The suspect is 34-year-old Robert Jenkins.

According to New Hartford Police, during the course of the investigation Mr. Jenkins was found to be in possession of a quantity of crack-cocaine, quantity of Marijuana, a quantity of US Currency, digital scales, packaging materials and ammunition. He has been charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a Class B Felony, Criminal Possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a class A Misdemeanor and unlawful possession of marijuana. Mr. Jenkins was remanded to the Oneida County Jail, and will appear in New Hartford Village Court at a later date.
