Utica Man Arrested For Unlawfully Renting Out Apartment

Utica, NY (WIBX) - A Utica man is facing a grand larceny charge for allegedly renting out an apartment without the knowledge or consent of the landlord. The suspect, 66-year-old George Lester of Taylor Avenue was arrested and charged with fourth degree grand larceny--a felony, following an investigations by UPD's Criminal Investigation Division.

Officials say Lester collected over $4,000 when he unlawfully rented out the vacant apartment in a two-family house on Boyce Avenue.
