
Utica Man Charged In Oneida Bank Robbery
A Utica man has been charged with robbing the NBT Bank in Oneida on Tuesday afternoon.
Oneida City Police say 61-year old Claude Dent entered the bank just after 2:00 and handed a note to a teller, demanding money.
Police say Dent made hand movements in his jacket pocket to suggest that he had a gun, but a weapon was not displayed.
He fled the bank with an undetermined amount of cash.
Dent is charged with robbery and grand larceny.
