Utica Man Charged With Grand Larceny

Utica, NY (WIBX) - A Utica man is facing charges for allegedly stealing several checks  from his 85-year old grandfather, who has dementia.

Utica Police charged 25-year old Bryan Jones with grand larceny and seven counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Police say Jones forged his grandfather's signature on the checks and received over $2,600.

The UPD was assisted in its investigation by the Oneida County Office for the Aging.
