Utica Man Critically Injured in Motorcycle-Truck Crash

A 23-year-old Utica man was left in critical condition after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on Wood Lane in Schuyler, according to New York State Police.

State Police say the Cosmo Pelligrino III was operating the truck at around 11:20 Friday morning and attempted to turn into the Schuyler Town Park. His pickup entered the path of an oncoming motorcycle drive by Stas Brutsky.

Brutsky was unable to avoid the truck and was ejected, police said. Brutsky suffered severe head injuries and was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse where he was first listed in critical condition.
