Utica Police Arrest Three On Drug Charges
An investigation into the sale and distribution of illegal narcotics resulted in the arrest of three men by Utica Police.
Officers with UPD's Metro Narcotic Unit executed a search warrant at an Albany Street home, where they seized cocaine, marijuana and packaging materials.
During the search, the suspects allegedly attempted to flush the drugs down the toilet, but were unsuccessful.
UPD arrested Cecil Palmer, Sr., 42; Cecil Palmer, Jr., 22; and Alexander McKinsey, 18.
All three are charged with misdemeanor criminal possession. Palmer, Sr. is also charged with one felony count of criminal possession, along with criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.
