Utica Unveils 2018 Community Banner Program

The City of Utica is unveiling its 2018 Community Banner Program.

Mayor Robert Palmieri says nearly 100 banners promoting local businesses will be installed on the City's main roads starting next week.

That includes the Memorial Parkway, Pleasant Street, Burrstone Road and Genesee Street.

The banner program is a partnership between the City, CGI Communications and Community Showcase Banners.

The banners were designed by local artist Maria Vallese of Retro Sorrento.

“We wanted to create banners that captured and promoted our city’s unique identity.  By collaborating with Maria Vallese, a talented local artist, we were able to achieve this goal.   I thank Maria for passion and dedication to this project." said Palmieri.
