Westmoreland House Party Results In Six Arrests
Westmoreland, NY (WIBX) - A month-long investigation into a house party in Westmoreland has resulted in the arrest of five young men.
According to Chief Dean Obernesser with the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, the department received several calls about a December 4th house party on Shed Road, involving alcohol and an alleged sexual assault.
Rome Police Detective Richard Galluppi conducted an investigation and arrested five young men, ranging in age from 16 to 20.
Among those arrested were:
- John Becker, 18
- Aaron Dashnaw, 17
- Devon Williams, 16
- Sean O'Brien, 20
- Marvin Sherman III, 18
Each of them was charged with Sexual Misconduct and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, both misdemeanors.
Tina Williams, 36, was also arrested and charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child.
The sexual assault victim has also been offered counseling through the CAC.
