What the…? Nine-Month-Old Arrested for Attempted Murder!?! [VIDEO]
In one of the more unlikely stories you'll probably hear a nine-month-old boy in Pakistan has been charged with attempted murder.
Authorities booked Muhammad Mosa Khan back in February after several members of his family were accused of throwing stones at police officers and power company employees during a raid on homes whose residents did not pay their electric bills. As you can see in the video above, there is footage of the boy being fingerprinted.
An inspector determined Muhammad had indeed played a role in the incident, which his grandfather finds laughable, noting, “He doesn't even know how to pick up his milk bottle properly. How can he stone the police?”
Muhammad, who was granted bail, is due back in court on Saturday.
The inspector involved in the case has reportedly been suspended and while the judge overseeing the matter has allegedly said it’s ridiculous, he doesn’t have the authority to dismiss it.
Arresting a nine-month-old breaks with legal precedent in Pakistan, since the minimum age for criminal responsibility in the country is 12.
