Whitesboro Garbage Pickup Moved To Thursday This Week Because of Hurricane Sandy

Whitesboro, NY (WIBX) - Tuesday morning garbage collection in the Village of Whitesboro has been moved to Thursday this week as responders make preparations for Hurricane Sandy.

Authorities are asking that garbage and recycling cans that are on the curb be moved away immediately to accommodate emergency vehicles and so they do not become projectiles thrown by the high winds expected throughout the region.
