Woman Faces Charges After Walking In On Boyfriend And Another Woman

Utica, NY (WIBX) - A Utica woman faces a half-a-dozen charges after apparently finding her boyfriend in bed with another woman, according to police.

Utica police say 30-year-old Tashia Ferrell faces felony counts of burglary and criminal possession of a weapon and lesser charges of criminal mischief and menacing.

Police say Ferrell's boyfriend awoke to find her standing over him and another woman with a knife.

The boyfriend was able to wrestle the knife away from Farrell, but police say she then began to fight with the other woman, and took the keys to the woman's car and left.

Ferrell turned herself into police on Monday.
