Woman Killed In Madison County Crash

An Oriskany Falls woman was killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Cole and Stratford Streets in the Town of Madison.

Madison County Sheriff's Deputies say 85-year old Patricia Fleming collided broadside with an SUV being driven by 25-year old Brittany Leuenberger.

Fleming had to be extricated from her vehicle and was airlifted to a Syracuse Hospital, where she died.

Leuenberger was able to to get out of her vehicle.  She was taken to a hospital in Hamilton, where she was treated and released.

Deputies says both women were wearing seatbelts.

The investigation into the crash is continuing.
