Word of Life Church Defendants Told All Or None

Four more Word of Life Church defendants were in Oneida County Court on Friday.

Church Pastor Tiffanie Irwin, Joseph Irwin, Linda Morey and David Morey are charged in the death of Lucas Leonard and the beating of Christopher Leonard during a "counseling session" inside the Chadwicks Church last October.

WUTR TV reports Judge Michael Dwyer told the defendants that all four must take a plea offer or go to trial.  The case was adjourned and the four will be back in court next Friday.

Four other defendants in the case -- including the boys' mother and father -- Bruce and Deborah Leonard, have entered guilty pleas.

Sarah Ferguson, Lucas and Christopher's step sister, were found guilty of five counts in July and were sentenced to 25 years in prison.
