The usually very active New York Yankees only made a minor move at the MLB trade deadline on Tuesday, acquiring infielder Casey McGehee from the Pittsburgh Pirates.

McGehee, a five year veteran, was batting just .230 with 8 homers and 35 RBI's in 92 games this season. He's a career .260 hitter.

In return, the Yankees dealt right-handed reliever Chad Qualls to the Bucs. Qualls was acquired by New York from the Phillies in a trade on July 1. In eight games, Qaully was 1-0 with an ERA of 6.14 with the pinstripes.
