YWCA Kicks Off 25th Salute To Outstanding Women

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Nominations are now being accepted for the YWCA Mohawk Valley's 25th "Salute To Outstanding Women" event.

The awards honor the contributions and achievements of women who live and work in Oneida and Herkimer Counties in eight different categories.

The categories include Education, Business and Industry, Health Care and Arts and Communications.

Executive Director Natalie Brown says the event is the YWCA's biggest fundraiser of the year.

Nominations are due by February 7th.

The Salute to Outstanding Women will take place on April 4th at Harts Hill Inn in Whitesboro.
