2012 Big East Tournament
The Louisville Cardinals won the 2012 Big East Tournament defeating Cincinnati 50-44 on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden.
For Louisville, the tournament's No. 7 seed, it is their second Big East title. Cincinnati was playing in its first Big East championship.
Peyton Silva was named tournament MVP - Silva scored 10 points to go along with four assists in the title game.
The Cardinals have an automatic bid in the NCAA tournament.
