A Winter Weather Advisory is Issued for the Twin Tiers
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT TO 6 P.M. FEBRUARY 22.
The National Weather Service says mixed precipitation is predicted for the period with total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches and little ice accumulations.
The Watch area in Northeast Pennsylvania includes Susquehanna, Bradford and Wayne Counties. In the Southern Tier and Central New York: Broome, Tioga, Cortland, Chenango, Otsego and Delaware Counties.
Motorists are advised to plan on slippery road conditions, including during the morning commute and be aware there could be reduced visibility at times. Pedestrians should also be aware of possible slippery conditions on walkways and other hard surfaces.
