Adrian Peterson Suspended For Rest Of Season Without Pay
The NFL is suspending Adrian Peterson without pay for the rest of the season following a review of his off the field conduct which resulted in an indictment.
Earlier this month, Peterson pleaded 'no contest' to misdemeanor reckless assault for an incident involving his 4-year-old son. He had faced felony charges of injury to a child for using a tree branch 'switch' to spank the child.
Peterson's eligibility going forward will be determined before April 15, 2015, the league has indicated.
Peterson is appealing the decision.
