Annsville Man Dies in Car-Pedestrian Accident

Rome, NY (WIBX) - Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies say an Annsville man is dead after being hit by a car.

Deputies say 42-year old Donald Thayer was crossing Route 69 in Rome just after 6:30 last night when he was struck by a car driven by Aaron Findlay of Camden.

Thayer was taken to Rome Hospital, where he later died.

The invesigation into the accident is continuing.
