Arrest Made In Bridgewater Robbery

An arrest has been made in the early morning robbery of the Nice and Easy-Valero gas station on Route 8 in Bridgewater.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says 21-year old Shane Kabana of Brookfield allegedly entered the store at around 1:30 and handed the clerk a note demanding money.

They say Kabana got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He was identified as a suspect and was taken into custody at his home without incident.

Kabana was charged with robbery.

Investigators say Kabana is a New York State parolee who was released from prison in May.
