[AUDIO] Boilermaker President Tim Reed Talks Boston Marathon Bombings One Year Later
Today is the One year anniversary of the Boston Marathon Bombings that left three people dead and more than 200 wounded.
Here in Utica, Boilermaker President Tim Reed says the bombings have brought the distance running community closer than ever before.
Reed says Utica and Boston are connected not only by the Boilermaker but also because many inductees of the National Distance Running Hall of Fame in Utica are Boston marathon veterans.
In the clip below, Reed remembers getting the news about the bombings from WIBX's Bill Keeler.
