Bagg’s Square Award Winners Announced
The Bagg's Square Association has announced the winners of its inaugural Bagg's Square Awards.
Frank Pryzbycien is the winner of the Legacy Award, Lynne Mishalanie won the Neighborhood Advocate Award and the Utica Coffee Roasting Company was named Business of the Year.
Pryzbycien was a charter board member of the Bagg's Square Association, which was founded in 1978 and was involved in the resurrection of the association in 2013.
Mishalanie purchased two building in the Bagg's Square Area in 1997. Both buildings were used to promote artists and performers through Utica Monday Nite.
The Utica Coffee Roasting Company opened in Bagg's Square in 2005.
The awards were initiated to recognize individuals and businesses that have contributed to the success of the neighborhood, both past and present.
