Centro Retains All Evening, Sunday And Holiday Bus Services

After receiving sufficient funding in the new state budget, Centro Bus will retain all weeknight, holiday and Saturday night and Sunday bus services.

Centro had previously considered discontinuing those services due to a budget shortfall.

The Centro Board also voted to make certain system-wide adjustments to its discount fare pass program.

The current 7-day and 30-day unlimited ride passes will be discontinued, while the 10-ride passes will be offered at a discount of 10% instead of the current 25%. All single ride fares will remain the same system-wide.

And to increase the efficiency of some Utica-area services, adjustments will be made to the frequency of some routes, but no routes or services will be eliminated.
