Congressman Anthony Brindisi Holds Town Hall In Rome
Congressman Anthony Brindisi held a Town Hall Thursday night on the Rome Campus of MVCC.
Brindisi took questions straight from the audience on a wide variety of topics including rising health care costs, border security, education, and more.
There were nearly 100 constituents in attendance, including, Girl Scout Troop 60384 who joined him to lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
Congressman Brindisi pledged to host one town hall meeting each month, visiting every county in NY-22 during 2019.
"The only way to do my job is to hear directly from the people who live and work in our communities to learn more about the challenges they face," said Brindisi. "It's important to me that I listen to my constituents and answer their questions - but it doesn't stop there. I will take what I heard and find ways to help solve problems and deliver results for Upstate New York."
