WALLKILL, N.Y. (AP) — New York State Police say a two-car crash in upstate New York has left one person dead and another injured.

Troopers say the crash happened in Wallkill in Orange County around 10:20 a.m. Sunday. Police say 30-year-old Dustin Mills, of Middletown, was travelling east on state Route 17M when 28-year-old Robinson Perez, of New York City, left the westbound lane and struck his car.

Mills was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Perez was treated for minor injuries at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown.

Troopers say their investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
