Death Of Western NY Child Investigated As Homicide

SWEDEN, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say a homicide investigation is underway after a boy around the age of 10 was found dead in a western New York home.

WHEC reports that deputies found the child's body Thursday night during a search of the home in the Monroe County town of Sweden.

They were responding to a call for a suicidal person with a knife.
