Senator Charles Schumer says the final National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal year 2020 will include $18 million in funding for Rome Lab.

The bill is expected to pass Congress and be signed into law next week.

Schumer says the federal funding authorization is a green light for the Department of Defense to supercharge its investment into the cutting-edge research that’s happening at Rome Lab.

This proposed funding will ensure that the talented people that work there will help our nation stay ahead of our international competitors in these critically important fields” said Schumer.
