Olympic bronze medalist Erin Hamlin will be the featured speaker at the Observer-Dispatch's annual Teen All-Star program next month in Utica.

In its 23rd year, the event recognizes 25 outstanding high school seniors active in youth organizations, church groups, volunteerism, music, arts, sports and more.

Hamlin, who became the first U.S. athlete to medal in single's at an Olympic luge event, was herself named a one of the OD's Teen All-Stars in 2004.

The ceremony is taking place at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 29 at the Radisson Hotel Utica-Centre.
