Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri is announcing the grand opening of The Local Farm to Table Cafe.

The Farm to Table Cafe, located at 900 Lansing Street, is the home of the former East Utica Library which was erected in 1913.  The building was remodeled and reimagined by Maynard Anken and Carl Mierek, who also serves as the head Chef and Operations Manager.

Palmieri said, “Not only is it great to see local developers and entrepreneurs investing in Utica but also fully supporting other local businesses.  Manny and Carl’s concept is a win-win and we appreciate their passion and dedication to our community.”

All products served at the cafe such as meat, eggs, dairy and produce come from local farms.  The cafe is open for breakfast and lunch everyday, except Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
