Four Rabid Animals Found In Herkimer County

The Herkimer County Public Health Department is reporting four cases of rabid animals in the County.

Officials say two bats found in the Town of German Flatts and two raccoons found in the Town of Frankfort tested positive for rabies.

They say it's important to keep your pets up to date with their rabies vaccinations.
