Intergenerational Fall Clean Up This Weekend

Utica, NY (WIBX) - The 3rd annual Intergenerational Cleanup is taking place this weekend in Oneida County.The County Youth Bureau, the County Office for the Aging and Continuing Care and area youth are joining forces to offer general yard cleanup services to the elderly.

The cleanup services will be offered on Saturday and Sunday from 10-to-2.

Interested seniors can call the County Office for the Aging and Continuing Care at 798-5456.

Last year, 450 youth volunteers raked and bagged leaves, swept porches and brought refuse to the curb at 100 senior citizen households.
