The J.C. Penney kettle that looks strangely like Adolf Hitler sold out on the store’s website just hours after the story went viral. However, many of the tea pots have landed on eBay instead of stove tops. And the $40 product is listed for $199.99 and up. Meanwhile, JC Penney insists the kettle’s resemblance to Hitler was unintentional. The company tweeted, “If we had designed it to look like something, we would have gone with a snowman or something fun.“
