ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — A Rochester man has been found guilty of murder in the fatal shooting of another man near a Rochester playground on a summer afternoon.
Monroe County prosecutors say 40-year-old Adalberto Marrero faces 25 years to life in prison following his conviction Monday in county court.
A jury found Marrero guilty of second-degree murder and weapons possession in the death of 23-year-old Jonathan Padilla in August 2015. Padilla was shot three times outside the David Gantt Recreation Center.
