A Johnson City man is guilty of all fifteen counts of criminal possession of a weapon in one of the biggest weapons busts in Broome County history.

A Broome County jury deliberated about eight hours before finding 65 year old Ramadan Abdullah guilty on all counts.

He faces three and a half to fifteen years in prison.

His lawyer claims racial profiling and an appeal is expected.

Abdullah had been arrested following a report of a theft of ammunition from Gander Mountain in May and a search of a storage facility and relatives' homes turned up dozens of small and large weapons.

Prosecutors say handguns possessed by Abdullah where not licensed to him and those weapons were at the center of the charges pursued.

Defense Attorney Matthew Ryan said his client was a safe gun-owner, a member of the National Rifle Association and and an avid hunter but law enforcement had labled him as a terrorist based on his appearance.

Sentencing is set for December 19.
